Obituary of Rose Hall
Hall, Rosemary Catherine (nee Salvatori)
Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, December 27th, 2020 at 66 years of age. Daughter of the late Pietro and Maria Salvatori. Beloved wife of Jim for over 47 years. Loving mother of Allison (Eric) and Stephen. Survived by brothers Joseph (Margaret) and Michael. Cherished aunt of Brittany (Aaron) and Joel. Rose will be remembered by her many extended family members and friends. Rose was a fantastic cook and baker, and nothing made her happier than feeding the people that she loved. She was also a fashion plate, with an extensive clothing, shoe, purse, and jewelry collection that necessitated her husband converting a bedroom to a “closet room”. She proudly worked at Curtiss Wright for over 38 years and made many great friends there. She was an avid reader, loved to garden, and was the best person to see a movie with because she could sneak in food and drinks in her notoriously giant purse. Rose will be remembered for her big smile, her quick wit, her great memory, and always being there to listen and to offer advice. At the family’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held later. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brantford General Hospital would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Rose in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
