Ronald William Deslippe 2020 avis de deces

Dear family and friends, it is with sadness and broken hearts we share the passing of Ronald William Deslippe just shy of his eightieth birthday. Oh, how he wanted to reach that milestone! Ronald passed away with his family by his side. He will be forever missed, mourned and remembered. Ronald was the beloved husband and lifetime soul mate to Jeannette Deslippe (nee Soulliere). They were married for 58 years. Father to Bruce Deslippe and wife Susan, Chris Deslippe and wife Marina and Catherine Deslippe. He was Grandpa to Brady Deslippe and wife Fionna, Connor Deslippe, Dawson Deslippe, Kyle Deslippe and Aidan Deslippe. He was a Great Grandpa to sweet Amelia parents Brady & Fionna. We can never forget he was papa to fur baby Noel, his beloved dog.
Ronald was an uncle, a cousin, and to many, a great friend. Ronald was the youngest and last surviving of his nine siblings and son of Hector Deslippe and May Dupont.
Ronald loved to play cards with friends and family and was the partner you wanted on your team. He loved to cook and host dinners with extravagant menus. He loved to ride his bike and recently re-found his love for fishing. He was a low-key kind of man that loved the simple things. He worked hard his entire life to care for his family and has left lessons, love and kindness to everyone that knew him.
In his earlier years, Ronald was the Lions Club President. He was a long-time member of the Fr. Nicholas Point Counsel 4375 Knights of Columbus, Marriage Encounter, Faith Unlimited and CORPS. In later years with his wife by his side, he became active in community service with the Downtown Mission and his local food banks.
He will be missed, loved and never forgotten.
Due to the strict restrictions of COVID19, we cannot celebrate his life with family and friends. The family will host a memorial celebration at a later date.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to their family doctor Dr. Roxanna Chow, caring for dad for over 40 years and never giving up on him. The Hospice of Windsor became their lifeline, and the depth of their kindness, understanding and caring during this difficult time was nothing short of amazing. If you so desire, donations to The Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
