Ronald Davis
1953-2020
Ronald Alfred Davis, 67, of Spruce Grove, Alberta,
lost a long battle with cancer after contracting COVID early in
December, succumbing to these illnesses peacefully, pain free and with
his children at his side on December 25, 2020. Ron is
survived by his son Sheldon Davis, Daughter Krysal Buckingham, their
mother LeeAnn Davis, grandkids Kalyx, Tyler, Kinley, Emily and
Jenna. Brother, Larry of Edmonton, Alberta and brothers and
sisters in New Brunswick Danny, Mike, Debbie and Sheila as well as
their loving spouses and families. He was predeceased by his
parents Fred and Florence of Little River, NB. He leaves
behind countless friends that will forever be touched by his part in
their life. The family would like to thank them greatly for all the
support they have received throughout this difficult
time.
There are not many people that have met Ron that
have not left his presence without a smile or a good laugh at one of
his offside, or dad jokes. He always had a positive and
upbeat attitude that was infectious to all those around him.
Ron was not one to stay put, he could be found visiting his kids and
grandkids almost daily. Heading out to a local coffee shop
to visit with one person or another, he always seemed to know someone
no matter where he went. His passion, other than his family,
was riding motorcycles. The miles he would put on in a
summer were astounding. He would often meet up with groups
of friends and just start riding, ending up on the open road for a few
hours up to a few days. He will be missed in the community,
especially the biking community that he spent most of his summer
with. We will miss you Dad/Papa/Ron, may you be at peace and
forever in our hearts.
The family has decided to forgo a formal service
until such time that the restriction on gatherings are
loosened. We will notify when a celebration of life is
planned.
