Roger Vautour
1943-2020
ALDOUANE, NB – Roger Vautour 77, of Aldouane passed
away at this residence on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Born in
Richibucto, he was the son of the late Eloi Vautour and late Aurore
(Doucet) Vautour. Before retiring, Roger was employed at
Kouchibouguac National Park for over 45
years.
Roger will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Stella
(Vautour) Vautour of Aldouane; one daughter, Carole Vautour of
Cap-St-Louis; two sons, Ronnie Vautour (Rachel), Michael Vautour
(Karine) both of Dieppe and four grandchildren, Daniel, Manon, Joline
and Maxime.
He is also survived by three sisters, Diane Vautour, Anne
Vautour, Estelle Vautour; seven brothers, Luc Vautour (Ramona), France
Vautour (Connie), Isidore Vautour, Adrien Vautour, Eloi Vautour, Alyre
Vautour (Anne), Jean-Nile Vautour; sister-in-law, Simonne Vautour and
many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother,
Adelin Vautour.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a maximum of 10 people will be
authorized in the building for visitation and masks are
required. Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Friday beginning at 2:00 pm until departure for
the funeral mass. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Friday, October 16, 2020 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Francais Roman
Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent for 10 immediate family members
only. Family also would like to say that a gathering for
friends and family will be held when it is safe to do so at a later
date.
