The family announces with great sorrow his passing in North Bay, Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Patricia (née Larabie) Laurin. Son of the late Émile and of the late Gaetanne (née Sauvé) Laurin. Loving father of Denise Truchon (Paul), Adeline Robichaud (Gilles), Madeleine Simon (Don Leblanc), Daniel Laurin (Joy Paterson) and Isabelle Robichaud (Claude). Dear brother of Odette Poulin (late Conrad). Cherished grandfather of François, Nancy, Michel, Nicole, Richard, Patrick, Sylvie, Denis, Alain, Holly, Sarah and great-grandfather of Ethan, Trinity, Chloe, Hunter, Ethan, Isaak, Oaklin, Janelle, Gabrielle and Jacob. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, August 28th, 2020 from 1-4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel, Sudbury. Due to the current pandemic, masks are required upon entry, with a limit of 20 visitors at a time.
