Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of Roberta Patricia Jensen on September 20, 2020, she went peacefully in her sleep.
Robbie was born March 20, 1940 in Vancouver, BC to Gladys Stark. She was predeceased by her husband, Ivan Jensen. She is survived by their 3 children, Patty (Colin), Bill (Cheryl) and Shelley (Darryl). Robbie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her grandchildren, Derrick, Jennifer, Michelle, Rachel, Cierra, Kevin, Christine, Greg, Anna and Michael plus 12 great grand children.
Robbie was born in at Vancouver General Hospital. She attended Queens Hall Private School until Grade 11 and then quit to work at Woodward’s. Robbie met Ivan at Woodward’s, they got married in 1961 and celebrated 58 years of marriage. She worked for Sears, loved to sew, socialize and be with her family. After retirement, they moved to Kelowna in 2007.
Her Celebration of Life which will be held at Everden Rust Funeral Chapel, 1910 Windsor Road on Saturday, September 26,2020 at 1 pm by invitation only. Zoom information by request.
