Randolph « Randy »
Lewis, 92, of Moncton and former long-time resident of Sunshine Drive,
passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 28,
2020.
Born in Young Cove’s
Road, he was the son of the late Murray and Cora (Miller)
Lewis.
Randy was an Electrician when
he met the love his life, Phyllis Faye (née Perry). They
moved to Moncton in 1955, where he started his career working as a
Technician with LTV / ATV, retiring with over 36 years’
service in 1991. He was a devoted member of The Glad Tidings Church
family for over 40 years, where he served his Church in various
capacities. Randy loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and the
old Hawaiian guitar.
Randy will be sadly missed by
his son, Dale Randolph Lewis of Riverview, as well as many nieces,
nephews and extended family members. Randy was the last surviving
member of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Phyllis F. Lewis
(September 2010); three brothers and five
sisters.
The family would like to thank
the Staff of The Moncton Hospital and K. E. Spencer Memorial Home for
the care and consideration given to Randy during his
stay.
Visitation at Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour
Randy’s life will be held from Glad Tidings Church, 2460
Mountain Road, on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:30 pm, with Pastor
Paul Pattison leading the service. Reception following the service.
Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later
date.
In lieu of flowers,
donations in memory of Randy to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or
K. E. Spencer Memorial Home would be appreciated. Online condolences
