Many nieces and nephews, friends across Canada and his beloved feline companion, Abby. This is the ending of a long and mostly happy life. Ralph was extraordinarily lucky or blessed, depending on your outlook, to have had a happy childhood filled with wonderful memories, brothers and sisters that he loved and who loved him, the ability to make friends with practically anyone he met, whether that was here in St. John’s where he lived most of his life or in Summerland, B C where he lived for twenty five years or recently, in Paradise, NL. He made a happy first marriage, had three children that he adored and was proud of. He met his second wife while working in General Delivery at the Main Post office on Water Street. Later, there were his four grandsons and their partners, all of whom brought happiness to his life. Along the way, there were dogs that were pals and cats that he dearly loved. Ralph did his best all his life. He will be much missed. Thank you to the staff at The Miller Centre and The Heath Science. A private family visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
