Obituary of Phyllis Olga Lambert
Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family in Carbonear on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, Phyllis Olga Lambert of Grates Cove, age 93 years.
Predeceased by husband: John; parents: Harry and Jane Meadus; brothers: Charles, George, Llewellyn, Harry, Clarence, Obediah, and Dougald; sisters: Maude, Louise, and Suzannah; daughter-in-law: Maxine Smith.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, daughter: Linda (Fred) Hicks, Paradise; two sons: Paul (Yvonne) Lambert, Carbonear and Lloyd Smith, Angus, ON; seven grandchildren: Peter (Heather), Nancy (Ben), Nicole (Shawn), Justin (Candice), Jillane, Lynee, and Shane (Andrea); ten great-grandchildren: Jadeyn, Avarie, Declan, Cailum, Rowan, Amiliya, Kennedy, Addison, Luke, and Mahalla; sister: Isabel Rowsell, Seal Cove; sisters-in-law: Minnie Winsor, Paradise, Joyce Noseworthy (Clarence), Bay Roberts, Olive Meadus, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Resting at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Grates Cove on Wednesday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, February 27 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Luke’s Anglican Church and Cemetery, Grates Cove.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church, General Delivery, Grates Cove, NL, A0A 2L0.
