Obituary of Pearl Carol Dainow
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Pearl Carol Dainow in Regina, Saskatchewan on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the age of 76. She was raised and educated in Montreal. She will be deeply missed by her son Louis (Susan) Browne and her three grandchildren, Vanessa, Henry and Aaron; her three brothers, Ernest (Neema), Toronto, Robert (Cheryl), Vancouver and Elliott (Patti), Vancouver; and ex-husband Berks Browne (Rosemary Oddie), Regina. Pearl had a long-standing interest in Indigenous art and culture and had many Indigenous friends. She had a lifelong love for doing arts and crafts and shared this with children whenever she could. She made lasting friendships with people from all walks of life wherever she lived and kept in close contact with the people she cared about. Pearl deeply valued the time she spent with her family and made the effort to stay in touch with everyone. She will be remembered for her wonderful full laugh and engaging smile. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave., Regina, SK, on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Regina Jewish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the: Canadian Mental Health Association, Regina Branch, 1810 Albert St., Regina, SK S4P 2S8.
