Patricia Pat Soulliere Ducedre 2020

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Patricia at the age of 74. Patricia will be greeted in heaven by the love of her life, her late husband Blaise (2015). She is survived by her sons Randy (Kathy), Greg (Angie), and her best friend Denyse Derush. Cherished grandmother to Danielle (Tim), Kristen (Joe), Mark (Katie), Rick, Maggie, Sam, Robert, and Dane (Amanda). She was a treasured great-grandmother to Emily, Nora, Danielle, Griffin, Valerie, and baby 6 on the way. Patricia was predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Gordon Ducedre, and her sister Catherine. She leaves behind her brothers Doug (Linda), Ron (Robin) and Jamie (Jay) as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law Bernard (Carole), Bernice (Alec), Delores (late David), Margaret (Jack), and Noella (Brian). She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pat was a dedicated employee of Sears Canada for 35 years and leaves behind many great friends. Pat loved to play golf, cards, bingo and travelling to Vegas with Blaise and anyone else who would want to go. Patricia loved to cook, especially for holidays or family gatherings. Her favourite was cooking the dinner of choice for whoever’s birthday it was so she could have her grandkids over to her place for countless hours. She loved the card parties with her girlfriends a few times a month and was always ready for anything. Most of all Patricia loved to be around her family and was the centre of our world. You will be missed Mom!
Special thanks for all the care Mom received from Dr. Shamoon, Dr. Kay, Dr. Pan, Dr. Mathews, Dr. Schneider, Dr. Johnston, Dr. Burgess, Dr. Meloche, and Dr. Danielle Soulliere, who helped tend to mom’s needs during her last days at home surrounded by her family. We would also like to thank the entire staff at WRH-Met Campus, Windsor Cancer Clinic, Windsor-Es EMS, Paramed Services, Bayshore Health Care, and the Hospice of Windsor. The care and compassion shown by all the professionals to mom and our family were second to none. Thank you for all you do!
If you so desire, donations to the Windsor & Es County Cancer Centre Foundation or Transition to Betterness would be appreciated by the family.
