With her sister by her side, Pamela Jane Wheeler, passed away
peacefully on July 27, 2020. Born in Canton, Ohio on March
31, 1958 her family moved to Fredericton (her mother and
sister’s hometown) in 1964.
Pam is survived by her sister Kim Stuart (Bob) of New
Maryland, her uncles Rick Dingley (Linda) and Reg Dingley (Shirley),
aunt Nancy Easterbrook and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gilbert (Buddy) Wheeler
and Mary (Dingley) Wheeler, her maternal grandmother, Blanche (Endall)
Dingley, two uncles and a cousin.
Like her father, Pam loved sports having played softball and
ringette in her younger years. She also loved animals
especially dogs. Her favourite pass times were playing
bingo, drawing and painting and watching scary movies. Pam
made friends wherever she went. She was a giving soul always
willing to lend a helping hand.
For all of their wonderful care, a big thank you to York Care
Centre, Dr. Aslam and his ICU team, in particular Marissa, Jennifer
and Chris, and the nurses of 4NW. A special thank
you to Dr. Daigle for making Pam smile in her final
days.
A graveside service will be held at a later
date.
Donations in Pam’s memory can be made to the Heart
and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association, or charity of the
donor’s choice.
