Norma’s Obituary
Ethier, Norma Ann Jourdenais- 67, Lockeport, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2020 with family by her side. Born in Verdun, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Romeo and Peggy (White) Jourdenais. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a hard worker all her life; she worked at Donna’s Kitchen and Tim Hortons for many years. She volunteered at the Lockeport Elementary School. Norma was a hugger, everyone always got a hug. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards ,and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Norma is survived by her spouse George; son, George Jr.( Hannah); daughters, Michelle ( Gary); Erica (Simon; brothers, Robert and Dave; grandchildren, Kayla, Matthew, Hailey, Breanna, Tia, Alexis, Simon and Destiny; great-grandson, Knightly. She was predeceased by daughter, Gloria and grandson Kenny.The family would like to thank the V.O.N, Dr. Trudy Mcfarlane for their compassionate care during Norma’s illness as well as a thank you to Huskilson’s Funeral Home for their kindness. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium Ltd. A private family service will take place at a later date.
