Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandpa and friend, Myles Leigh Ear. Born February 14, 1975 at High River, he passed away October 24, 2020 at the age of 45 years. Myles was an athletic person who enjoyed outdoor activities but was also an all round cowboy. His hobbies included: baseball, trail riding and camping. Myles enjoyed his time breaking horses, round-ups, and cattle brandings. He had many friends including all of his nieces and nephews that called him Uncle/Daddy. His love for them was immense. He raised a few nephews and a niece Chanel. Myles is survived by his mother Bernice Ear. His siblings: Patrick, Roy Jr., Pam, Ingrid, Tanniea, Narissa (Brian), Aimee and Martha. Special cousin and best-friend Sterling Ear and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends from the families of the Ears, Bearspaws, Dixons, Lefthands, Cecils and Daniels. We’re sorry if we have missed anyone. He was predeceased by his father Roy Dixon, sisters Kaylin and Jeanine, nephew Jarvis Ear, niece Alleanna Ear, paternal grandparents McFarland and Martha Dixon, maternal grandparents Alex and Leah Ear. A prayer service will be held at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel, 301 Macleod Trail, High River, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 1:00 pm. A wake will follow at the home of Bernice Ear, Eden Valley. A Funeral Service will be held at the Eden Valley United Church on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Myles will be laid to rest at Eden Valley Cemetery.
