Miriam Faith Fort
1932-2020
Miriam Faith Fort of Royalton passed away on Friday, July 10, 2002 at
the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born June 7,
1932 and was the daughter of he late Frank and Cassie Ogden. Besides
her parents, she was predeceased by her 1st husband, Wendell Boyd Sr.;
son, Arnold Boyd; son-in-law, Doug Reid; daughter-in-law, Georgie
Boyd; great grandson, Dallas Ferguson; step daughter, Jennifer Fort;
five brothers and two sister.
Miriam is survived by her husband, Lee Fort of Royalton; children,
Wendell (Barb) Boyd of Bloomfield, Clarissa (Wayne) Phillips of St.
Stephen, Valerie (Ricky) Betts of Minto, Rose (Wendell) Ferguson of
Bloomfield. Deanna (Gerald) Stanley of Newburg, Kendell (Brenda) Boyd
of Knoxford, Tony (Melanie) Boyd of Alberta; daughter-in-law, Diana
Boyd of Alberta; step daughter, Karen Fort of California; 17
grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 2
step grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
There will be a public visitation held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday,
July 12th at Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Woodstock. Due to
the current Covid 19 restrictions physical distancing will be
required. The funeral service will be held at the church on Monday, at
11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Wittmeier officiating. In keeping with
Covid 19 restrictions, public seating is available, but limited.
Please come prepared to wear masks if social distancing cannot be
accomplished. The interment will follow the service in the Greenwood
Cemetery in Hartland. The public is also invited to join the family at
the burial. Social distancing will still be required at the cemetery.
If so desired, donations can be made to the Greenwood Cemetery.
