Obituary of Mike Martin
Martin: Michael ‘Mike’ Lee –
A resident of Chatham, Mike Martin suddenly passed away at home on October 30, 2020 at the age of 55.
Born in Chatham, Mike was the son of the late Lawrence and Stella (Tucker) Martin.
Loving father to Ashley Martin (Travis Snake) of Morpeth, Britany (Justin) Brammall of Ridgetown, and Jonathon Duquette (Destiny Sharpe) of Blenheim.
Papa Mike to Aiden, Aubree, Jameson, Lucas, and Landon.
Brother to Linda VanDamme, Heather (Hank) Miller, Joe Martin, Tim Martin, Tom (Florence) Martin, Barb Martin, and predeceased by Jane Thorogood, and John (Marg) Martin.
Fondly cherished by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Mike will be remembered by his passion for car races with Dale Earnhardt Sr., and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Visitation will take place on Saturday November 7, 2020 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. E. in Ridgetown from 1:00pm – 2:30pm. In accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, all attendees are required to wear a mask. A private family service will take place following the visitation with Rev. Judith Fayter officiating. A private burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery following the service.
