Merle Sawyer
1947-2020
Frederick Merle Sawyer of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at
the Grand Falls General Hospital on September 26, 2020.
Merle was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on April 20, 1947. He was the son
of the late Fred and Daisy (Grant) Sawyer. Merle leaves behind his
daughter, Donna Sawyer (John Wright) of Gladwyn, NB; his
grandchildren, Tusha, Chelsea, Wesley, and Jamie; his great
grandchildren, Jacob, Dakota, Zayden, Josie, and Bailee; his sister,
Maxine Lunn (Calvin) of Plaster Rock, NB; along with many nieces and
nephews.
Merle was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Ozios
Sawyer.
A memorial service celebrating Merle’s life will be held at the
Plaster Rock Free Will Baptist Church at a later date. Interment will
be in the Plaster Rock Community Cemetery.
For those who wish memorial donations to the Mamma Bear Cancer Fund or
the Victoria County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
