Obituary of Martin Speelman
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday January 25, 2020 at Strathroy Middle General Hospital in his 86th year.
Beloved husband of 62 years of Antonia Speelman (Spoelstra). Loving father of Henriette (Martin) Baelde, Charles Speelman (Karen), Marlene (Wilf) Allaer, Annette Speelman/Wilpstra (Allan), Mark (Julie) Speelman and the late Peter (Survived by Carol) Speelman. Loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Maria Van Dyke, Ronnie Van Kempen, Willemena (Jan) Vandergeest, Joanne Mantel, Ina (John) Hoogstra, Lydia DeRuiter, John (Corrie) Speelman, Eric (Joanne) Speelman and Mary (Doug) Gibbon.
He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received on Monday January 27, 2020 from 7-9 PM at Westmount Christian Reformed Church. Funeral service will be Tuesday January 28, 2020 at 1 PM at Westmount Christian Reformed Church. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Strathroy Middle Hospital Foundation.
