Mark Ellsworth Beaumont
1951-2020
Mark Ellsworth Beaumont, 68, of Edgetts Landing passed away
peacefully at his home looking out onto the beautiful view of the
water, which was glimmering in the sunset, on October 5th,
2020, with his loving family by his side.
Mark was born in Edgetts Landing on October
19th, 1951, the son of the late Archie and Doreen(Campbell)
Beaumont.
He worked at AC Stevenson &
Partners for many years and established himself as a very
respectable accountant who was admired in his profession by all who
had the privilege to work with him. He was the kind
of man who was professional but knew how to laugh as well and not take
things too seriously. He was treasurer of both the Valley
Baptist Church and the River View Cemetery for many years.
An avid traveller, he and Linda enjoyed their warm winters in Arizona
and their adventures throughout Canada, the U.S. and Europe always
learning and making memories along the way. He always enjoyed time
outdoors, especially walking, kayaking and motorbiking. He travelled
many miles around the Maritimes, just taking in the scenery
and feeling blessed to live in such a beautiful area, especially in
the fall. His favourite road was always the one that led
home. He loved to go camping and made many memories by
the
campfire, always having fun and laughing. His main priority
in life was his family: they were his pride and joy. He was
always there for his kids if they needed anything and when his
grandchildren came around there was no mountain too tall for him to
climb for them. He looked forward to all his family’s visits
and all his Beaumont reunions and especially the Christmas
get-togethers. They were a close family having
five sisters and one brother. Mark will be remembered for
his strength, honesty and humility. He was a quiet and gentle man who
was fondly thought of by all. Sadly missed in our lives, but
forever in our hearts.
He will be deeply missed by his wife and best
friend, Linda (Atkinson) Beaumont; his cherished children, Cary
Beaumont (Clarence Robinson) of Riverview, Jeffrey Beaumont of
Fredericton, and Virginia Beaumont (Ken Traynor) of Halifax; his
treasured grandchildren, Jacob, Lucy, Benjamin, Daniel, Hoyt, Jack,
and Nora; his sisters, Carol Shannon (Danny) of Beaverbrook, Anna
Terris (Jim) of Riverview, Marion Stevens (Garry) of Hillsborough, and
Donna Reid (Jim) of Hillsborough; his brother-in-law Gerry Morrissey
of Moncton; his sisters-in-law Brenda Price (George) of Hillsborough,
Nancy Prince of Riverview, and Tracy O’Hara (Kevin) of
Lower
Coverdale; and his brother-in-law Bruce Atkinson
(Rhonda) of Lower Coverdale. He will also be missed by many
nieces and nephews and by all his extended family and
friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his
sister, Kathy Morrissey and brother, Paul Beaumont and
brother-in-law, Robert Prince.
There will be visitation on Thursday, October
8th, 2020 at the Albert County Funeral Home from 2-4,
7-9pm. An outside funeral service will be held at the
Beaumont Home, 3415 Route 114, Edgett’s Landing, NB on Friday, October
9th, 2020 at 3:00pm, everyone is welcome.
