In loving memory of Lucille “Lucy” Séguin (nee St-Jean) 68 years, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 3rd 2020 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Conrad Séguin predeceased in 2008. Loving mother or Daniel St-Jean (Annette), Marcien Courchesne (Shirley) of Yorkton, and Christine Gordon (Theo) of Indiana. Loving mémère of Renée Rautiainen (Russell), Steven Loftus, Angeline Pratte, Stephanie St-Jean, and Patrick Baelde. Dear daughter of Eugene and Ange-Aimée St-Jean both predeceased. Dear sister of Claude St-Jean (Michelle) of Wasaga Beach, Leonard St-Jean, Eugene St-Jean (Suzie) of Timmins, and Ivon St-Jean of Winnipeg and predeceased by Patrick St-Jean, Roger St-Jean (Jean of Belleville), Germaine St-Jean, Claudette Morissette (André of Chelmsford), and Carolyn. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her many loving friends.
Lucy was a lover of country classics, playing Bingo and her many cats. Her best memories were entertaining in her home. Her door was always open to family and friends, which included making sure they were well fed. She spent countless hours volunteering for her church community at St. Jean De Brébeuf.
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff, and palliative care team of 7th floor, North Tower at Health Sciences North. Special thank you to Dr. Sanjay Patel for his patience and caring bedside manner.
Friends may gather at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch Street, Sudbury) Friday, November 6th, 2020 from 6-9 pm. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic directives, 50 people or fewer may be in the visitation room. Face masks are mandatory. Due to the social gathering restriction numbers, a private family mass will be held on Saturday at St. Jean De Brébeuf.
