Luc Arseneault
1948-2020
SAINT-CHARLES, NB –
Luc Arseneault, 72, of Saint-Charles passed away peacefully at the
Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Ste.-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday, December
20th, 2020. Born in St. Charles,
he was the son of the late Sylvestre and Eva (Chevarie) Arseneault.
Luc worked as a meat cutter and retired from a long career at the
Richibucto Coop. He was a parishioner of the
St.-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic
Church.
Luc leaves to mourn his loving wife, Linda
(née Melanson); his daughter, Anne Arseneault of Riverview;
his son, Denis (Laura) of St. Louis; his granddaughter,
Zélie (Emilie) of Dieppe; as well as his
« adopted » grandchildren, Mathieu Thériault (Amy)
of Bathurst, Myriam, Arya and Brielle Mahi, all of Memramcook, who he
considered as his own
grandchildren.
Luc will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Nicole
O’Leary (Sonny) of Stratford, ON and Lucille Gallant of
Oromocto; his brother Pierre (Cécile) of St. Charles; his
sister-in-law, Laurinda Melanson of Moncton; his nieces and nephews,
Debbie Myers (Jason), Shawn O’Leary (Jen), both of Ontario,
Lisa Gallant (Alain) of Montréal, QC, Daniel Gallant (Liza)
of Oromocto, Stéphanie Richard (Serge) of Moncton, Sylvain
Arseneault (Christine) of Moncton and Normand Arseneault of St. Louis,
Patricia Pelletier (Joel) of Moncton, Nevin Williams from Dalhousie;
as well as by his many
friends.
Besides his parents, Luc was predeceased by his two
brothers, Normand and
Jacques.
As per Luc’s and the family’s
wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private
family service will be held at a later date. Donations in
Luc’s memory may be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
Arrangements are in the professional care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto.
