Obituary of Lois McLeod
Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on April 24, 2020. Born in Owen Sound on July 2, 1934, Lois Ann (née Taylor) McLeod, was in her 86th year.
Beloved wife of Rodger McLeod for 67 years. Loving mother of Penny Lee Dumouchelle and her husband Dan of Windsor. Cherished Grandma of Matthew Dumouchelle (Christine Sylvester) of Windsor, Amy Bhatia (Raj) of Aylmer, and Great-Grandma of Evelyn and Crosley Dumouchelle and Tanya and Monty Bhatia. Will be missed by her many fur grandbabies. Dear sister of Jean Byers, Nancy Baker, and sister-in-law of Marilyn McLeod, Marvin McLeod (Doreen), Lorraine Potter and Jill O’Guin.
Predeceased by her parents Arnold and Daisy (née McGill) Taylor, siblings Earl Taylor (Rina), Ruth Williton (Wayne), Robert Taylor, Cheryl Ward, and siblings-in-law Orville Byers, Jim Potter, Larry O’Guin, Flo McLeod, Ken McLeod (June) and Sid McLeod.
She is reunited with her loving dog Sadie.
A private funeral service will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound (519-376-7492), on Tuesday, April 29, 2020, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. A public celebration of Lois’ life will be held at a later date when handshakes, hugs and love can once again be shared safely. Details will be provided as soon as possible.
