MCLEAN, Velma « Lois » (nee Watson)
passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 93 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd (1999). Loving mother of the late Ross (2003) (late Doreen 2001) (Victoria) and Ron (Verna). Proud Gram of Steven (Tracy) and his children Cody and Morgan; Sherri (Bill) and their children, Crystal, Michael and Jayden; Scott (Kim) and his son Sam; Allan (Julie) and their children, Christopher, Jorja and Evan; Brian (Roxanne) and their children, Alexa, Rowan, Cooper and Jase; Dan (Rene) and their son Levi. Step Gram to Michael (Terrill), Kelly and David (Ricki Lynn). Dearest sister of the late Burt Watson and Irma (Lloyd) McEnery. Dear aunt of the late Stanley McEnery and late Beryl Coles. Lois devoted her life to supporting her Lloyd in their shared loved for horses. She was a lifelong member of the Ballinafad United Church where she served her Lord by feeding many. She also spent her life helping family, friends and neighbours in the Acton community. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Royal Oak, Kingsville for their loving care of Mum, especially during these difficult times. Family will gather for a Funeral Service to celebrate Lois’ life at Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Es (519-776-4233) on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 7 pm. Due to Covid restrictions, attendance is limited but livestream will be available above Lois’ obituary. Pastor Tom Collins officiating. Family interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Acton on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1 pm. Due to Covid restrictions, visitation is limited to a specific number of people at a time. Only those with an appointment will be let in. EVERYONE must wear a mask and social distance from the family and those around them. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Faithville Gospelcast Productions would be appreciated.
