Reid, Lise (nee Bertrand)
Its with heavy hearts that the Reid family announces the sudden passing of Lise on Saturday, January 4, 2020, she was in her 58th year. Beloved husband of Wayne Reid of Mattawa. Cherished mother of Rachelle Bertrand (Olivier) of Ottawa. Sadly missed by her siblings Bob Bertrand (Paulette) of Verner, Ed Bertrand (Jennifer) of North Bay, Helene Bertrand (Sid) and Lynn Pellerin all of Mattawa. Best friend of Francine Lefebvre of Mattawa. Lise is predeceased by her parents Jacqueline & Rheal Bertrand and her siblings Nicole Bertrand and Ted Latour. She will be missed by so many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lise was loved by the community, had a heart of gold and put everyone above herself. She touched so many lives with her countless hours volunteering with the Food Bank, the Lions Club, she helped seniors with paper work, and was a “mom” to everyone. Her passing is void that will never be filled. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN & SLOAN “Mattawa Chapel” on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Alban Church at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a lunch at the Mattawa Legion. Burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery in the spring of 2020. If desired, donations to the Mattawa Food Bank would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
