It is with broken hearts that the
family of the late LEWIS ERNEST THORNHILL
of Bay L’Argent announces his passing. Lewis
passed away at his home in Bay L’Argent on Friday, February
21st, 2020 at the age of 87. Leaving
to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his loving wife Ann
of 61 years; son, Earl Thornhill (Trudy) of Gander Bay; daughters,
Judy Baker (George) of Little Bay East, and Louise Thornhill of Cole
Harbour, NS; 6 grandchildren, Allison, Kathryn, Megan, Amy,
Kristen and Tracey; 3 great-grandchildren, Maddison, Sophie and Kathy;
sister, Amy Vincent of Marystown; special friend, Absalom Baker of Bay
L’Argent; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. Lewis was predeceased by his parents, Earl
& Lydia Thornhill; brother, Otto Thornhill; and sisters, Janet
Banfield and Gladys Williams.
The Thornhill Family will
be accepting visitors at Salem United Church, Little Bay East on
Sunday, February 23rd and Monday, February
24th from 2pm to 4pm; and 7pm to 9pm; and
Tuesday, February 25th from 10am to
12noon. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February
25th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Salem United
Church in Little Bay East. Interment will follow at Salem
United Church Cemetery, Little Bay East
