RODOWA, LEONA GRACE BLOHM
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving and devoted wife, aunt and friend to all whose lives she touched. Leona Grace Blohm Rodowa, age 85, with her husband Erwin Rodowa and her sister-in-law Hazel Blohm by her side, passed away peacefully at Parkridge Center on December 24, 2020 due to natural causes. Leona is survived by her husband Erwin Rodowa, sister-in-law Hazel Blohm, nephew Dwayne and Michelle Blohm (Amanda and Samantha) Donald and Carolee Blohm (Erica and Lacie ), her aunt and numerous cousins. Leona was born April 26, 1935 at Vanguard, SK. Married to Erwin Rodowa since 1969. She was predeceased by her brother Vernon Blohm, father Albert Blohm, mother Amanda Blohm and numerous aunts and uncles. Leona had a beautiful heart, which was shown for her love of nature’s gift of birds cats and dogs. Her talent and love for the accordion entertained friends with polka music. She was an awesome cook and homemaker. Leona grew up on the family farm near Glen Bain, SK and went to school at Easby, Hodgeville and Glen Bain, SK. At the completion of her school years she moved off the farm and tested the city life in Regina,Toronto, New York, Winnipeg, and Swift Current before settling in Saskatoon in 1974 with Erwin. Leona’s wishes were to be cremated and buried on the family farm with her brother. Thank you to Dr. Mohsen Miakhil and staff at Parkridge Center for the excellent care given to Leona.
