Obituary of Leith Robert Morrison
MORRISON, Leith R.
Pictou
MORRISON, Leith Robert -73, of Union Street, Pictou, passed away peacefully May 13th in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, with his daughter, Wendy by his side. Born in Glenwood, Prince Edward Island, he was the son of the late John Frederick and Olga Adelaide (Hodgson) Morrison. He was a proud retiree from Ferguson Industries Limited. He had many scrapbooks commemorating the many ships he had worked on over the years. During the summer months you could find him cruising around the neighborhood on his ride on lawn mower, helping out fellow neighbors. In his spare time, you could find him with his “partner in crime » Gerald Spears. He will surely be missed by the many visitors who stopped by for a coffee or just a chat. Leith is survived by his loving daughter, Wendy, Calgary, Alberta; and her sister, Lisa; along with her children, Brendon and Rayna Cowie, Kitchener, Ontario; brother, Donald Frederick, Ontario. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Ronald Lester. Cremation has taken place. A Burial will take place in the Glenwood United Cemetery, PEI, at a later date.
