Died peacefully on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family at the age of 55 Laurie of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Dr. Johannes Greyling. Loving sister of Cheryl Evenett and Tracey (Domenico Buccimazza). Cherished aunt of Matteo Buccimazza. Laurie is predeceased by her parents Selwyn and Sally Evennett and survived by her parents-in-law Hendrik and Annette Greyling. She will also be missed by her family and friends from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and across Canada as well as her dogs Delta, Inca and Smudge. Laurie had a career as a registered nurse and was a kind and generous person. She made friends easily as she travelled the world and locally she has attended the All Saints’ Anglican Church and volunteered at the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her kindness to all creatures and her fabulous baking. Her family will be gathering at All Saints Anglican Church, Collingwood on Monday December 14, 2020, for a Memorial Service, which would have been her 56th birthday Attendance is limited and thus by invitation. The ceremony will be live streamed beginning at 10:45 a.m. at www.allsaintscollingwood.com.
