Laura Wilchynski
November 15, 1922 – April 16, 2020
We are saddened to announce the passing of Mother and Grandmother Laura Anne Wilchynski (née Neumann) on April 16, 2020 in her 98th year. She was predeceased by her husband Walter and son Tom (Wendy). Laura is survived by her brother Allan Neumann, her daughter Anne (Dave) six grandsons: David (Donna), Dan (Kathy), Bill (Holly), Corey (Kathy), Allen (Rae), Jess; and three great-grandchildren: TJ, Evelyn and Graham. Laura will be remembered for her devotion to family.
She worked at Safeway for thirty years. Laura loved gardening, baking, singing and was an avid walker always game for an adventure. For the past ten years she has resided at Royal Ascot Care Center where she received excellent care from devoted staff.
Following cremation, Laura will be interred beside her husband Walter at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby, BC. Condolences may be sent to the family via DrakeCremation.com.
