We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Kevin, or as many knew him growing up, Roy.
He passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020 at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, NL, surrounded by his loving family.
Leaving to mourn are his 3 children, Lynette (Dave), Kent (Diane), & Kelly (Shawn), his grandchildren Luke & Sam, his partner Sylvia, and her children Rod (Patti) & Suzette, & her grandchildren, Janelle, Tyler, Ethan & Taylor. Many cousins, nieces & nephews, brother & sister in laws, and countless friends as well. Predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Elsie, his sister Judy, his brother Gary and his parents, Leonard & Ruby.
Kevin spent many years (30+) working with the Bank of Nova Scotia, the last 13 years as branch manager in Glovertown. At Scotiabank, he had a whole other family, many who remained close & important to him into his retirement years. We will all miss his many stories, his contagious laughter, his guitar playing and riding our bikes with him through Ken Diamond Memorial Park – one of his favorite places!
In lieu of flowers, any donations to the heart & stroke foundation would be kindly appreciated.
A small service will be held for immediate family members at Oram’s Funeral Home in Glovertown in the next few days, with a proper service & celebration of his life to follow, when the social distancing requirements subside.
