Kenneth Ronald Whitlock

Whitlock, Kenneth Ronald- 76, of Coldbrook, NS, passed away on November 2, 2020 at Victoria General Hospital.
He was born in Digby, NS and was the son of the late Ken and Mildred Whitlock.
Ken worked at Volvo for over 35 years. He was a gifted musician and played in many bands for more than 25 years.
He loved to work on and rebuild guitars. Because of his love of music and attention to detail he seemed to always have a guitar on his workspace. He had an affinity for animals and often rescued those who needed a helping hand. He was really good natured and had an infectious laugh. He loved being with his family. He was known for his honesty and high moral standards yet never expected more of anyone but himself. He always gave more than 100% in any project he worked on.
Also, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and his love for people, he was moved to share his beliefs about the prospects of a better future that is in store for mankind based on the bible. (Rev 21:3,4)
We were so blessed to have him in our lives and we will dearly miss him.
He was a loving and caring husband, father and brother and will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda (Everest); daughter Deanna (Jim Turner) and son Craig (Linda Kettle & their three children); and his brother, John (Brenda Whitlock and their three children) And step siblings Victor and Valorie.
His funeral will be held virtually via zoom on November 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm. If you wish to attend please email djoyce18@hotmail.com for zoom credentials. There will be no visitation.
