Ken was born August 20, 1968 at Bengough, SK and passed away May 31, 2020 at Midale, SK at the age of 51 years. He grew up and attended school in Bengough. Later in life, he received his mechanical papers, which he used later in life and planned to use for years to come. But someone else with more power had other plans.
Ken worked rigs and made many friends where ever he went. He could always entertain in many ways, as many of you already know. He loved his hunting with his fur friends, gardening, fixing things, loved to cook, travel, remodel stuff and camping.
He belonged to the Boy Scouts and the Cubs (stories that would come back). When Ken was small, grandpa and grandma K used to baby sit. Well Kenny, he was his own person. He’d go over to the old folks at the home in Bengough and visit with the people. One lady told him he should have been a minister and that he’d would have be good at it. He’d go for walks with his dog Barney, he’d go for miles. Then one day he told us about some big tracks, out by some water holes out in no man’s land, they were wolf tracks. Well, that wolf is in the Big Beaver Museum. Another adventure was he caught this Shetland pony, tied it up in grandpa’s garage. Well when the horse was ready to go home, there was no Ken around. So we called the cops, and they said probably someone kidnapped him. But anyways, the cops found him and brought him back and told us not to say anything to him. Another thing, camping. When we stopped at a camp ground, Ken was gone. He knew where everyone was and who they were. Great memories.
Rest in peace, love you.
