Obituary
Keith Black passed away peacefully at the Foothills Country Hospice in Okotoks.
Born on the farm near Ohaton was where he acquired his passion for horses. Horse power was the tractor of the day and mode of transportation which led him to raising and racing standard bred horses.
Keith managed Service Stations in Edmonton, Victoria as well as High River where he lived the small town life meeting new friends and making himself available to help whenever asked.
When he moved back to Edmonton he was employed as Assistant Track and Barn Superintendent at Northlands until his retirement.
Although he never married, family was very important to him, especially the fourth generation of babies coming into the world.
Keith was predeceased by his parents, Bill and May Black, brother Don and friend Jack.
Uncle Keith will be lovingly remembered by his niece, nephews and their families as well as long time friends Francis Knight and Pat Shiels.
A special thank you to the Foothills Country Hospice and staff for the loving compassionate care that Uncle Keith received.
A family graveside service will be held in Okotoks.
