Karin Mae Linaya (Erickson) Martin was born in Rossland, BC on September 4, 1941 and passed away on November 5, 2020 at Columbia View Lodge in Trail, BC.
Karin will be deeply missed by her daughter Lisa (Joe Letoria), son Carl (Shelly), daughter-in-law Pam; grandchildren, Quinn (Tara), Paige (Todd Carruthers Martin), Erik, Cassidy (Mitch Lenarduzzi); great-grandchildren Mason, Lily and Jack; and in-laws Judy Erickson, Nancy (Dick) Lopaschuk, Donnie (Joan) Martin, Elaine Martin, and Bernice Ashman.
She is predeceased by her husband Allan (Porky), son Jeff, brother Allan Erickson, sister Shirley Jeffords, and parents Gunnar and Hildegard Erickson.
Karin loved baking and always had a large variety of cookies, cakes, and homemade bread to share. She was an avid bingo player, loved to gamble, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. There are many fond memories of the camping trips to Evans Lake, and vacations to Hawaii, Arizona and Sweden.
