Obituary of Karen Dawson
Dawson, Karen Anne (nee Timm).
Born July 21, 1942, in Benton Harbor, MI; died Nov. 25, 2020, in Chatham, Ontario. Predeceased just 11 days prior by David Dawson, her husband of 18 years. Survived by her children Charles Cromer (Karen Shearer-Cromer) of Doylestown, PA; Steven Cromer of Newberry, SC; Dave Cromer (Glenda) of Ypsilanti, MI; and Elizabeth Hunter. Also survived by grandchildren Richard Cromer, Heidi Cromer, Chris Cromer, Michael Cromer, Megan Shearer and Kayce Shearer; by great-grandchildren Daniel, Savannah, Robert, Aaliyah and Mark; and by newly discovered sister Janice Delatte. Predeceased by her parents, Marie and Roy Timm, and by her brother, Robert Timm. Karen was an avid reader, enjoyed Bingo whenever she got the chance, and surrounded herself with photos of her family. As Karen wished, cremation has taken place. She and David will be interred together in Toronto when gathering restrictions have been lifted.
