Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Justina Lundquist at the age of 101.
Justina Phillipine (Scheck) Lundquist was born Sept. 24, 1919 to Adam and Elizabeth Scheck in Rose Helm, Alberta. She was one of many children. In the 1930’s the family moved to homestead in Cecil Lake BC.
At 14 or 15 years old she went to work as a housekeeper and also worked and the old Providence hospital in Fort St. John.
She married William (Bill) Lundquist Feb 12, 1942. They lived and farmed in Rose Prairie.
Justina is survived by 7 children: Elayne, Delphine, Delmer, Sharlene, Lorraine, Lanny and Valerie, and brother Tom. She is predeceased by her husband and son Delmer, as well as her brothers and sisters.
A beautiful person, she will be missed by her children, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and brother, as well as many friends.
