Masters: Joseph (Wayne) Masters 73 of Gracieville Richmond Co. N.S.
We regret to announce the death of Joseph (Wayne) Master’s of Gracieville, Richmond Co. which occurred at home on Friday, Jan. 10th. Born in L’Ardoise 16th September 1946 to Eva Mae and Charles Master’s.
Wayne was a small engine mechanic throughout his working life, a skill he carried into his retirement, always tinkering with them in his shop. He wasn’t a man to sit around he always kept busy with one thing or another. He was staple of many Flea markets throughout Nova Scotia, he loved the challenge of buying, repairing those items to like new condition and then reselling those items from his booth at these Flea markets. He was also a former member of the Senior’s Jolly Club
His wife will miss his love of all animals and children, listening to him play his guitar, waltzing in the kitchen as he sang the songs, walking on the beach, and our many car trips around the province singing to the “oldies”
He is survived by his wife: Linda Landry, his Brother: Al Masters (RoseMarie), Antigonish, his sister Mary (Peter) Fougere of St Peters, his dog Ginger, many nieces and nephews, his brothers and sisters in law, and his extended family in the USA. Predeceased by his mother Eva and brother: Harry Sampson.
Cremation has taken place. Wayne’s will be receiving family and friends at the Holy Guardian Angels Resting Place on Thursday Jan. 16 from 2-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday Jan. 17th at 11 am in Holy Guardian Angels roman Catholic Church, with Father John Yake officiating. There will be no burial at this time
