The death of John Franklin Hanna of Howe Residence, Miramichi formerly of Chatham, NB occurred on Friday, October 2, 2020 at his residence at the age of 85. Born in Newcastle, NB he was the son of the late Frank and Esther (Wood) Hanna.
John worked for 27 years with the Province of NB as a Surveyor’s Helper with the Government Garage.
John is survived by: two sisters: Mildred Timberlake of Boston, Mass, USA; Alice Upton of Drumheller, AB; one brother: Wilbur (Gloria) of Douglastown, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jack is predeceased by: two sisters: Linda and Dolly-Pearle
At John’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside committal service will be held at a later time. Interment will take place in St. Mark’s United Cemetery, Douglastown, NB at a later date.
