Obituary of Joan Van Brek
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Evelyn “Joan” Van Brek on Jul 13, 2020 at the Pasqua Hospital. She is predeacesed by her husband Bryce Van Brek; parents Jacob and Amelia Kraft; brother Jack Kraft; sisters Kay Grant and Millie Blain; niece Rhonda Ricard; nephew Paul Kraft and brother in law Ed Grant. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her brother Frank (Brenda) Kraft of Morinville, AB; sister in law Betty Kraft of St. Albert, AB; brother in law Roland Blain of Calgary, AB; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Kuzmicz and all the wonderful staff at Qu’Appelle House for their excellent care of Joan. Cremation has already taken place and a private family gathering to celebrates Joan’s life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Qu’Appelle House, 1425 College Ave., Regina, SK, in Joan’s memory.
