Jim (Donald James) Ridley, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Hillside Manor, just after midnight on Mar. 4th, 2020. Jim spent his life farming with his brother Cal in Downie Township.
Loving father of Rosanne Eickmeyer (Richard), Sandy Herbison (Dave), George Ridley (Hilda), John Ridley, Helen Glaab (Paul), Harvey Ridley (Kathleen) and Gail Sarll (Warren.) Grandfather of Carolyn (Bob), Janet (Rob), David, Teddy, Scott (Heather); Charity (Brian), Dan (Yvonne), Emily; Erin (Nathan), Jamie (Christine); Arlen, Toby, Christina (Michael); Becky (Andrew) and Benji (Vanessa.) Loving great-grandfather of Paul, Justin, Sean; Payton, Bailee, Samantha; Malachi, Zachary, Abrianne; Logan, Quinn; Brayden; Aivree, Grace; Samantha, Andy; Makenna and Caius.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Ruby Ridley (Thomson), his brother Allan and his twin brother Calvin.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kalra as well as the kind and caring staff at Hillside Manor, his home for 21 years.
Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Sunday, March 8th from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Monday from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Interment in the Spring in Harrington.
