Obituary
In Loving Memory of
Jim Hachkewich
At Jim’s request, there will be no formal funeral service.
However, the family is welcoming visitors to the Hachkewich Homestead in the afternoon of Sunday, Sept 27, 2020.
Located 5 miles north on Suttil Road off highway 15.
Please join them as the last goodbyes are the hardest ones to say.
This is where the cowboy rides away.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to your local rodeo committees
as we all know how important they were to him.
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jim Hachkewich. Jim was predeceased by his parents Alex and Ethel Hachkewich, spouse Theresa Ramstead, brothers Ernest, Raymond and Bernard and sisters Bonnie and Shirley. He is survived by his children Wanda (Danny Mason) Hachkewich, Candace (Darrell Taypotat) Parks, Marty (Tammy) Hachkewich, Chris Hachkewich, Shannon Copeland, and Sheri Coleman. As well as Linda Hachkewich, Don Medernach, Deanna Matai, Margaret Hachkewich, Emil Storos, Murray Parks, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Those that knew Jim would agree that he was a “Jim of All Trades”. He was a talented musician, a well-known building mover, and a cowboy who enjoyed his rodeos and trail rides. Above all, Jim was a wonderful friend and a great family man who will be missed by many.
