Obituary of Jean Press
At Chesley Hospital on Monday, April 27, 2020, Jean (née Norman) Press formerly of Belmore, passed away peacefully at the age of 94.
Cherished wife of the late K.C. Press. Loving mother of Russell Press and Gwen Bierworth both of Chesley. Dear grandma of Misty Press of Durham, Melanie Dawn of Welland and Marlo & Dan DeCosse of North Carolina. Great-grandma of four and great-great-grandma of two. Jean is predeceased by her parents James & Julia Norman, brother John Norman (Elda), sister Bernice Higgins (Jack), son-in-law Laurie Bierworth and great-grandson Daniel.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, a private family funeral service will be held with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment will take place in Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church, Belmore (42637 Huron Bruce Rd., R.R. #1, Wroxeter, ON) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be placed through McBurney Funeral Home, 519-357-1170.
