Jean Jamieson
Jean Jamieson, 94, of Lefurgey Special
Care Home, and formerly of High St., passed away peacefully at The
Moncton Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2020.
Born in Black River, she was the
daughter of the late Luther and Mae (Miller) MacLean.
Jean was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and
aunt. She loved to cook! and no one ever left her table
hungry.
Jean will be sadly missed by her sons,
David Jamieson and Brian Jamieson; grandchildren, Richard (Melinda Rae
Bent) and Tanya (Stan); great grandchildren, Tony, Kimberly Rae
(Tyler) and Josh (Stephanie); sisters, Betty Williston, Shirley Adams
and Hazel Fraser, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended
family members.
In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Jamieson; sister, Vera and brothers,
Chester and Harold MacLean and great great granddaughter, Lemon
Jamieson
The family would like to thank Dr. Amy
Brennan, as well as Carla and Staff at Lefurgey Home and to Amy
Shipley for the excellent care shown over the years to
Jean.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00
pm. Social Distancing Guidelines must be followed while in
the Funeral Home and wearing a mask is encouraged. A Service
to celebrate and honour Jean’s life will be held from
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11:00
am. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
In memory of Jean, donations to the
Friends of The Moncton Hospital (friendsfoundation.ca/)
