Peacefully at her home in Cobourg with her family at her side on Friday, December 25th, 2020, Janice Brooks (nee Sanford) at 84 years of age. Beloved wife of Eric Brooks. Cherished mother of Anne Sowden (Wayne) and Kelly Gaudaur (Robert). Loving grandmother of Ryan Brown (Elizabeth), Michael Brown (Charlene), Scott Brown (Nicole), Alyssa Gaudaur, Blake Gaudaur, and great grandmother of Sophia, Benjamin, Leeya, Logan, Leo. Predeceased by her siblings Herbert Sanford (the late Mary), June McGrath (the late Martin), Mervin Sanford (Millie). Janice worked for many years for Mr. Sub where she is remembered for her perfectly made sandwiches. Cremation with a Memorial Service to be announced once Covid Restrictions have been lifted. The Brooks family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Mule, Dr. Haukioja, the St. Elizabeth Nursing Staff, and the wonderful P.S.W.’s.
