Obituary for
Jane Verbeek
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday January 18, 2020. She is survived by her husband Hans Verbeek, her children Gerrit Verbeek (Lynn), Tom Verbeek (Josee), Willem Verbeek (Shelley), Ivo Verbeek (Curliss), Hilda Verbeek, Berta Litt (Jason) and Janey Parnell (Jeff); her grandchildren Vanessa, Jonathan, Willem, Joey, Sarah, Emily, Janey, Aaron, Laura, Thomas, Kennedy, Griffin, Allan, Ivo, Senni, David, Sam, Eva, Jesse, Cassie, Stewart, Hans, Jamie and Gerrit; her great-grandchildren Bentley and Bryson; her sister Nan Vanderveen (Karl) and her brother Bert Brouwer (Ruby). She was predeceased by her parents Gerrit and Hilda Brouwer, her sisters Willemien Brouwer and Teresa Vanderkamp and by her brothers John and Stewart Brouwer. Jane was defined by her Christian faith. Her life was characterized by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control. Her family takes great comfort knowing that she is with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. A special thank you to Dr. Malo for the exceptional care given to Jane. Funeral service will be held on Friday January 24, 2020 at 11am at the Grace Bible Chapel. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
