Janet Irene Setterington Bilke left this world on Friday, May 29, 2020 after pursuing to live her best life she could these last two years in Walkerton.
She looked forward to the various visits she had at the house and the Tuesday Coffee Time with the group. Many would see her getting around town doing her shopping every week, going to the post office, bank, pet store or sitting out on her porch. Halloween and Christmas were her most talked about holidays. She enjoyed seeing all the kids dressed up and hearing them talk about the « big » chocolate bars she gave. Christmas was especially wonderful these past two years sharing it with her brother and his family. Her life is not about these last two years, but it does summarize how she lived it. She was decisive, determined, desired inclusiveness, yet enjoy her solitary time. She cherished each moment.

She enjoyed some creative writing of her own, being a Girls Scout Leader, or volunteering for the Homeowners Association. When she returned to Walkerton, Canada in 2006, she provided cared for her mother and husband including spending time at the Food Bank. She had a full life and impacted many people through her stories, conversations, and actions. She will be missed.
