Jane’s Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announce the sudden passing of Verna Jane Blanchard (nee Gale) of Pollard’s Point on Monday December 14th.,2020 at western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook in her 79th year.
She is survived by her husband Malcolm, her daughter; Diana (Joe) of Ontario and two grandchildren Tanya (Erick) and Victoria (Jeff). Jane is also survived by her brothers; Charles, Edward (Triffina), Hugh (Marie) and William (Margaret),. Sisters; Amanda and Jessie. Brothers-in-law; Robert, Freeman (Eileen), Hayward (Juanita), Bernard (Carol), Gerald (Kay) and Roy (Janice), sisters-in-law; Lovetta, Naomi and Joan (John). Special friend Judy Caines. Also a large number of nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Jane was predeceased by her parents Lewis & Dorcas Gale, brothers; Charles, Douglas and Job, sisters; Janetta, Martha and Cordilla.
The family will be receiving family and friends on Wednesday December 16th ,2020 at the Anglican Church in Pollard’s Point from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm also where the funeral service will take place on Thursday December 17th ,2020 at 2pm with Rev. Boone officiating. Internment will follow at the church cemetery in Pollard’s Point.
