Jack was born in Meadow Lake, SK and grew up at Chitek Lake, SK. He was predeceased by his brothers Charlie and Leo Seppala, mother Lillian and father Bill. He is survived by his sisters Lyla (Norman) Levandoski of Chitek Lake, SK, Cherie Seppala of Kitimat, BC and sister in law Maureen Seppala of Kitimat, BC.
Jack leaves behind his wife of 52 years Glenna of Cobble Hill, BC, his sons Denny (Rachel) and their children Lillian, Hazel and Evelyn of Duncan, BC and Douglas (Tamara) and their children Douglas Jr. and Skye Raine of Vancouver.
Jack will be fondly remembered by his friends Marg and Paul Hartlen, Ralph Gover and numerous other extended family members.
He spent five years in Sooke, BC in the Navy joining up at Halifax then travelled the world to Europe, Africa and Bermuda. He then continued in the Coast Guard serving lighthouses around Vancouver Island.
Jack met Glenna and they married and settled in Langford then moved to Kitimat, the Queen Charlotte Islands and then eventually settling in Cobble Hill. Jack sure didn’t let the grass grow under his feet.
Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, But rather openings where loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.
