Suddenly, on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, in his ninety-fourth year, with his family by his side. Jack was born on November 12, 1926, son of the late Goldie and the late Sam Kadaner. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of sixty-eight years this July, Paula Wolloch. Loving and devoted father of four, Irwin, Debbie, Humphrey (the late Mandy Tarder-Kadaner), and Reesa. Cherished grandfather to his three grandchildren, Shawn (Lindsay), Robyn (Jesse), and Bailey. Proud great-grandfather of Jake. Brother-in-law of the late Esther and Kenneth Brandman, the late Schewa and the late David Honig. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Jack was a renaissance man, a talented, adventurous, and successful businessman whose passions included his family, painting, sailing, golfing, teaching (driving, skiing, tobogganing and more). He was an excellent dancer, a smart dresser, a mechanic, a carpenter, and “Jack” of all trades. He was an autobiographical author, and loved to travel, having visited numerous countries in six of the world’s continents. Jack lived a full and happy life and was appreciative of all he had been blessed with. Special thanks to the ICU and the 4th floor East Wing staff at the Montreal Neurological Institute for their exceptional and compassionate care. A heartfelt « Yasher koach » to our sister, Reesa Kadaner, who was there throughout our father’s hospital stay, when some of her siblings could not be physically present. Private graveside service. Shiva strictly private. Due to the advent of Shavuot, shiva ends Thursday afternoon, May 28. Contributions in his memory may be made to the “Paula and Jack Kadaner Fund for the Clinical Research Unit” c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251, or to the Beth Zion Congregation, (514) 489-8411.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Jack Kadaner 2020..
