Iva Josephine (Murray) Arbeau, wife of the late Mason Bernard Arbeau of Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, formerly of Upper Blackville NB, passed away Tuesday March 10, 2020 at her late residence, at the age of 90.
Born in Upper Blackville NB, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Emma Mae Nancy (Connors) Murray. She was a retired cook for Forrest Protection and Fishing Camps, former TOPS member and also a member of Upper Blackville United Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Lucy Arbeau (Dale) of Doaktown, Connie Furlong (Paul) of Upper Blackville and Loana Brideau (Val) of Fredericton, three sons, Jerry (Edie) of Fredericton, Andy (Darlene) of Doaktown and Shephard (Shirley) of Bryenton, four sisters, Jean Bragdon (Richard) of Connecticut, Vera Merseau (Junior) of Blackville, Edna McCarthy of Upper Blackville and Ramona McDonald of Blissfield, fifteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her twin sister Dora and three brothers, Aubrey, Eldon and Alvin.
Iva Josephine (Murray) Arbeau is resting at Upper Blackville United Baptist Church with visitation on Friday evening from 7-9 and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9.The Funeral Service will be held Sunday March 15, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Upper Blackville United Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Inman officiating. . Burial will be in the family plot of the church cemetery later in the spring.
